Senior Camp 2008

Senior Camp had another fun filled week in Cheshire this year, despite some awful weather at times! As usual the Camp was split up into 4 teams and there was fierce rivalry between them as points were fought for in challenges such as ice cream tasting, the scavenger hunt, bowling, the quiz and the infamous photo challenge which saw teams getting photos of themselves in some unusual situations!

An unexpected highlight was a visit to Techniquest in Wrexham where everyone really enjoyed the hands on science experiments. This was followed the next day by surprise trip to Manchester to go skiing! Everyone had a fantastic time having a go at tubing, stand up skiing and sit down skiing, as well as just generally playing in the snow!

On the evenings we had a chill out night watching a film, played Pass-the-Parcel PHAB style with lots of dares from feeding a volunteer yoghurt whilst blindfolded to putting on as many clothes in a minute. PHAB’s got Talent had some fantastic breakdancing, singing, jokes, magic tricks and dancing which kept us all entertained.

We rounded the week off in style with our Wild West theme party and everyone donned cowboy hats or Indian headdresses to look the part and danced the night away. Before we headed home, the awards were handed out and the PHABtastic 9 were announced as winners!
